Maigret et l’affaire Nahour

Amour et vengeance
En pleine nuit, le docteur Pardon fait appel à son ami Maigret : un inconnu vient de lui amener une jeune femme légèrement blessée par balle ; le médecin a extrait le projectile, puis le couple est parti, donnant de la blessure une explication incohérente. Maigret apprend la même nuit que le couple a pris l’avion pour Amsterdam. Le matin, Félix Nahour est découvert assassiné dans son hôtel particulier. Maigret découvre que la femme soignée par Pardon est Lina, l’épouse de Nahour ; l’homme qui l’accompagnait est Alvaredo, son amant.

Love and revenge
At night, doctor Pardon calls his friend Maigret: an unknown man just brought him a young woman slightly injured by a bullet; the doctor extracted the bullet, then the couple left, giving incoherent explanations the injury. Maigret learns that same night that the couple flew to Amsterdam. The following morning, Felix Nahour is discovered murdered in his mansion. Maigret finds out that the woman treated by Pardon was Lina, Nahour’s wife; and the man who was with her is Alvaredo, her lover.
